IISC is the University of Iowa’s largest community-engaged teaching & learning program. We form mutually beneficial partnerships across Iowa and to co-create solutions and opportunities that build more resilient and vibrant communities.  With the expertise of faculty and energy of graduate and undergraduate students. 

Each year, IISC connects more than 100 students and faculty with leaders and residents across the state to collaborate on locally identified priorities, delivering the creativity, expertise, and capacity communities need to tackle local problems. Through these partnerships and collaborations, IISC  while providing powerful applied learning experiences for students.
