Richard Fosse

Biography

Rick Fosse is a Professor of Practice for the Civil and Environmental Engineering Program.  He teaches a variety of classes focusing on design, project management, leadership, resilient infrastructure and emergency response.  Prior to joining the University, Rick practiced engineering for 33 years, including 11 years as Iowa City’s Public Works Director and 14 years as City Engineer.   

At a regional level, Rick has served on a variety of advisory boards, including the Iowa Department of Homeland Security.
