The City of Dubuque recently underwent transportation redesign and wanted to further explore Reasonable Mobility, one of the 11 core principles of the Sustainable Dubuque Initiative. Reasonable Mobility outlined four themes including affordability, modal diversity, safety, and decreasing net pollution. Students addressed the affordability of transportation be examining opportunities such as car-sharing and bike-sharing. Students analyzed the accessibility of the Dubuque's current transportation system; solicited feedback from focus groups comprised of likely end-users; and synthesized demographic data to access locational feasibility.
