In collaboration with Iowa Digital Engagement and Learning (IDEAL), honors rhetoric students created podcasts in sping 2014 through IDEAL's Digital Narratives project. Podcasts focused on IISC's partner community of Muscatine, particularly on the growth and development of Muscatine.

Here are the five stories told through podcasts:

• The Great Muscatine Industry Boom
  Muscatine is in the midst of a private-sector investment boom of over $500 million, this podcast will tell the story of which companies in Muscatine are doing well and why.
• Out in the Boonies
  A discussion of two or three downtown buildings and their historic value.
• Restaurant for Change
  Trends in downtown restaurants include the creation of Muscatine’s first outdoor patios/seating areas for this summer
• Gardens
  Community gardens are a highlight of the Muscatine Blue Zones Project™.
• Building Bridges to a Better Community: Leadership Muscatine
  Leadership Muscatine is a group of young professionals that works together on building leadership skills and improving the community of Muscatine. It completes projects like the lighting of the bridge over the Mississippi River.
