MRWMA Website Development Recommendations

Students in the School of Journalism and Mass Communication worked with the Maquoketa River Watershed Management Authority (MRWMA) with recommendations for website design, layout, and content to achieve MRWMA's short-term and long-term goals.

MRWMA sought ideas for reimagining the organization's website and functionality. Students in the class learned a responsive website design, creating prototypes for MRWMA and focusing on homepage design and a separate example page using Webflow. The group started with start with understanding and planning the content, then designed wireframes for basic responsive layout, and finally turned wireframes into visually aesthetic.

At the end of the project, MRWMA received 13 unique design concepts that helped inform how they would proceed with their website redesign.
