Pathfinders - Strategic Communications Tools & Practices

Students in a capstone class in the School of Journalism and Mass Communications worked with Pathfinders RC&D to develop strategic communication campaigns and management. Working in teams and individually, students:

  • critiqued the organization's strategic communication campaign strategies
  • conducted research to inform the development of campaign goals and materials
  • crafted a detailed, thorough situation analysis
  • identified and research appropriate target publics
  • set measurable goals and objectives, and developed tactics that align with campaign goals
  • identified appropriate assessment tools for campaign evaluation.
