College of Nursing students will partner with the City of Ottumwa to plan and implement a community health fair that promotes health, wellness, and disease prevention for residents of all ages. 

Building on community assessment activities completed during the fall semester, the project team will collaborate with local partners to deliver evidence-informed health education, screenings, and community resources tailored to Ottumwa's identified health priorities.

Pathfinders RC&D - Career Pathways in Healthcare and Nursing

Graduate students in the College of Nursing's "Community and Public Health Nursing" course partnered with the South Central Iowa Workforce Development Board to assess regional healthcare worker needs and to help local high school students learn about and potentially pursue careers in the healthcare field.
