Bondurant
Bondurant is one of the fastest growing communities in Iowa, with a median age of 31. Economic Development efforts have netted more than 4,000 jobs over the past five years and have attracted an Amazon Fulfillment Center and an Amazon Sortation Center. Between the 2010 and 2020 Censuses, the city experienced a 91% increase in population. Its commitment to a hometown feel and its agrarian roots remains strong. Currently, the City is exploring innovative strategies to repurpose a 24-acre site featuring grain silos located at the heart of the downtown area, as part of the Grain District Downtown Redevelopment Plan. To serve its growing population and attract visitors, Bondurant is improving its parks, green spaces, and trail systems. The city is a regional trail hub and a designated Iowa Great Place. With a strong calendar of local festivals and events, from the civic to the artsy, the community is a welcoming home base and destination for Iowans.
